Platform Usage
What is RoastAll?
RoastAll is a zero-tracking anonymous venting platform. Here you can safely post rants, vent emotions, no registration required, no personal data collection, all content auto-deletes after 30 days.
How do I post a rant?
Very simple! Just write your rant (50-500 characters) in the input box on the homepage, select a category, optionally set an admin password, and click "Publish Rant". No registration needed, completely anonymous.
Do I need to register an account?
No! RoastAll's core feature is no registration. Open the site and post rants immediately, we collect no personal information, use no tracking cookies, truly "use and go".
How long will my posts be saved?
All rants automatically expire and are deleted 30 days after posting. Deletion is physical-level and cannot be recovered. This is part of our "zero storage" commitment to protect your "right to be forgotten".
Can I edit or delete published content?
Yes! If you set an admin password when posting, you can click "Edit" on the post, enter the password to edit or choose "Physical Delete" to remove. Without a password, you must wait for the 30-day auto-expiration.
Privacy & Security
Does RoastAll log my IP address?
Absolutely not. We don't log IP addresses, don't use tracking cookies, don't perform device fingerprinting. Your posts cannot be traced back to you personally, which is the core of our zero-tracking commitment.
Can anonymous venting be traced?
RoastAll ensures anonymity at the technical level: 1) No user profiles 2) No IP logging 3) No device fingerprint tracking 4) Physical data deletion after 30 days. Unless you reveal your identity proactively, others cannot trace back to you.
Is my data safe?
We use HTTPS encrypted transmission, database access controls, SQL injection and XSS protection. However, please note that if you include personally identifiable information in your content, that information may still be seen by others.
Can the platform be shut down or censored?
RoastAll uses Cloudflare Workers for global deployment, not relying on a single server. Unless you violate the law (posting illegal content), your posts won't be arbitrarily deleted.
Algorithm & Features
What is anti-algorithm social?
Anti-algorithm social means no recommendation algorithms to decide what you see. RoastAll's content is purely chronological, no "recommended for you", no filter bubbles, no algorithmic manipulation.
Why no recommendation algorithm?
Recommendation algorithms create "filter bubbles", limiting users to only see what algorithms think they like, restricting perspectives. We believe authentic social should see diverse content, not algorithm-filtered results.
How do different sorting methods work?
We offer multiple sorting methods: Latest (chronological), High Engagement (likes×2 + comments×3), Most Liked, Most Discussed. You can switch according to preference.
Can I filter rants by category?
Yes! We offer multiple categories: Workplace, Campus, Life, Relationship, Tech. Click the "All" button to filter content by specific category.
Admin Dashboard
How do I access the admin dashboard?
Visit /admin page and enter the admin password to access the admin dashboard. The admin dashboard allows viewing all rants, managing categories, viewing feedback, etc.
What features does the admin dashboard have?
The admin dashboard includes: Data Overview, Category Management, Keyword Management, Rant Management, Feedback Management, Anti-Spam Rules, and more.
How do I change the admin password?
The admin password is set via environment variable. To change: 1) Update ADMIN_PASSWORD in .env file 2) Update Cloudflare Workers secret: echo "new-password" | npx wrangler secret put ADMIN_PASSWORD 3) Re-deploy
Mobile & Multi-language
Does it support mobile devices?
Fully supported! RoastAll uses responsive design, perfect display and operation on phones, tablets, and computers.
What languages are supported?
Currently supports Chinese, English, and Japanese. Click the language button in the top right corner to switch anytime.
How do I switch languages?
Click the language selector (showing current language) in the top right corner of the page, then choose your desired language.
